Legal person designated by the Ministry of Transport to perform tests of railway vehicles

• The Railway Research Institute, j.s.c. (VUZ) is a designated legal person to perform tests of railway motor, towed and special vehicles operating on the state, regional railways and tap lines according to § 43, Art. 4 of the Act No. 266/1994 Coll., on railways, within the scope given by the valid authorization issued by the Ministry of Tranpsort of Czech Republic.

• The VUZ is a designated legal person to perform test of railway vehicles of the special railway according § 43, Art. 4 of the Act No. 266/1994 Coll., on railways, within the scope given by the valid authorization issued by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunication of Czech Republic.

The legal person authorised by the Ministry of Transport to perform technical examinations and tests of designated technical facilities

The VUZ is a designated legal person to perform technical examinations and tests according to § 47, Art. 4 of the Act No. 266/1994 Coll., on railways, within the scope given by the valid authorization issued by the Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic for the following designated technical electric facilities (UTZ) in terms of regulation No. 100/95 Coll., (UTZ Order) on railways.

• Electric equipment of railway vehicles
• Power equipment of railway, control command, communication, fire, signalling and computer technology
• Control comand and signalling equipment the circuits of which fulfill the function of ensuring direct safety of railway transport
