Draw gear and buffer gear tests

Tests of draw gears and buffer gears are performed by means of top-grade equipment. Highly efficient simultaneous testing of several components assures fast and efficient test execution.

What is tested

  • Screw couplers, draw gear and draw hooks according to ČSN EN 15566
  • Buffers according to ČSN EN 15551

Test bench basic parameters

  • Uniaxial hydraulic “pulsator” with the power range of ±2500 kN and the piston rod working stroke of ±250 mm

Options and advantages

  • Frequency of loading during fatigue and dynamic tests of up to 4 Hz
  • Possibility to test entire sets of draw gear at once up to the length of 2 m
  • Devices for testing several samples simultaneously
  • Possibility of tensile testing until complete destruction to verify calculations
  • Fatigue tests can be performed 24 hours a day with monitoring of safety limits
  • Temperature monitoring and possibility of cooling during tests of elastomer samples
