Výzkumný Ústav Železniční, a.s. (VUZ) focuses its activities on the field of ISO 9001 management system certification.

VUZ provides management system certification through Certification Body of Quality Managements VUZ accredited by ČIA (the Czech Accreditation Institute), in the extend specified in the Accreditation Certificate issued to the Certification Body no. 3257.

However, VUZ has already been active on the market as a nonaccredited body for several years, while focusing on quality management system assessment in accordance with ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1 for the purpose of TSI.

The VUZ Certification Body aims to be the first choice in the field of quality management system certification to ISO 9001 in the railway sector, and at the same time deliver added value not only in the form of audit experts in the individual areas of accreditation, but also the knowledge and skills of the inhouse team of technical experts in the individual railway transport segments.

At the same time, the VUZ Certification Body wants to be an attractive choice in the field of certification of other segments in the field of rolling stock manufacturing and repairs, construction industry, warehousing or related professional training. Also in these areas of expertise, VUZ offers extensive professional knowledge as well as long-year experience.

That is why the scope of accreditation of the VUZ Certification Body has been gradually extended to additional areas.
