Interoperability assessment – NoBo / DeBo service
VUZ is the Authorized Body No. AO 258 and the Notified Body No. 1714 assessing the structural subsystems Infrastructure, Energy, Rolling Stock and Trackside and On-board Control-Command Systems, including the relevant interoperability constituents within the EU railway network. The key document for our assessments is the Directive (EU) 2016/797 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the interoperability of the rail system within the European Union. Product requirements are defined by the technical specifications for interoperability issued by the European Commission. Moreover, technical standards, UIC regulations and ERA technical documents apply.
Interoperability assessments are performed by our highly qualifed railway environment and product assessment experts. We hereby declare independence and impartiality of our assessment activities.
The assessment procedures are governed by modules defined by the Commission Decision 2010/713/EU on modules for the procedures for assessment of conformity, suitability for use and EC verification to be used in the technical specifications for interoperability adopted under Directive 2008/57/ES of the European Parliament and of the Council.
We are ready to arrange various types of tests and assessments for you in cooperation with our partners.
