Static, fatigue and dynamic tests of concrete sleepers
Concrete is a widely used construction material, requiring fatigue failure testing. We perform static, fatigue and dynamic tests of concrete sleepers and other construction components.
What is tested
- Standard and switch concrete sleepers according to ČSN EN 13 230
Test bench basic parameters
- Uniaxial hydraulic “pulsator” with the power range of ±2500 kN and the piston rod working stroke of ±250 mm
- PC microscope for measuring cracks during the test with a resolution of 0,005 mm
Options and advantages
- Frequency of loading during fatigue and dynamic tests of up to 6 Hz
- Accurate monitoring of crack development and its computer display with accurate measurement
- Fatigue tests can be performed 24 hours a day with monitoring of safety limits
- It is possible to test and measure the electrical resistance of the sleeper during rain simulation
