ETCS Testing
Turnkey solutions tailored to customer needs or based on ESC-CZ compatibility test scenarios for vehicle approval in the Czech Republic.
We perform comprehensive tests of vehicles equipped with the ETCS system in ETCS application levels L0, LNTC, L1 and L2, including combinations thereof, and dynamic transitions between them. A configurable pair of RBCs (radio block centers) together with installed fixed and switchable Eurobalises allow creating of any typical operating situations corresponding to real lines equipped with the ETCS system. The tests can be carried out on both the large and small test circuits. The large test circuit offers a maximum speed of up to 200 km/h under ETCS supervision. The test equipment has been developed and built over a long period of time in accordance with the latest ERTMS system requirements.
The CCT installation is fully adapted and approved by SŽ for performing of ESC-CZ compatibility tests for the Czech Republic (ESC-CZ-02, ESC-CZ-03 and ESC-CZ-04 according to SŽ PPD-3/2024). The testing infrastructure also includes a test environment for verifying the correct functionality of on-board units of the Czech national Class B train protection system LS.

- 2 RBCs type AŽD REA11 configurable and compliant with Baseline 3 R2 specifications (version 3.6.0., ETCS system version 1.1)
- Eurobalises type Siemens S21 and S22
- LEU units Thales and AŽD LEA
- Remote-controlled electronic interlocking system AŽD ESA with built-in simulator of operating situations (track section occupancy, signal changes, etc.)
- Conventional axle counters
