Dynamic component testing is performed at the Dynamic Test Laboratory (DTL) that forms a part of VUZ Testing Laboratory No. 1462 accredited according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The centre provides facilities for tests of ETCS-fitted vehicles of ETCS L0, LNTC, L1 and L2 application levels, including combinations of vehicles and transitions between them.
VUZ is the Authorized Body No. AO 258 and the Notified Body No. 1714 assessing the structural subsystems Infrastructure, Energy, Rolling Stock and Trackside and On-board Control-Command Systems.
The VUZ inspection body is an accredited assessment body for the purpose of compliance assessment according to the European Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 402/2013 in case of technical changes to structural subsystems infrastructure.
VUZ is a recognized independent safety assessor pursuant to ČSN EN 50129 based on the certificate of qualification recognition issued by Správa železnic (the Czech national railway infrastructure management authority).
Product certification or inspection: rolling stock and their parts, railways and railway components within the meaning of Act No. 266/1994 Coll. on railways.

VUZ is a „Authorized Legal Person” with competence in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. We assess newly manufactured or modernized vehicles and substantial change thereto, including vehicles approved for use in other EU Member States.
